Canadian multi-instrumentalist Alex Henry Foster returns to the Czech Republic after three years! This musician, singer, producer, and human rights activist from Montreal, Canada, embarked on a solo career after years as the frontman of the post-rock band Your Favorite Enemies. He set out to explore the darker corners of the human psyche and his own soul. His debut solo album, Windows in the Sky, was born as a cathartic response to the death of his father and serves as an introspective journey through grief, faith, and hope.

Foster’s music transcends genre boundaries – blending post-rock, ambient, noise, jazz, and experimental elements, with a strong focus on layered compositions and poetic lyrics, often delivered through spoken word. His work merges raw emotionality with artistic sophistication. It’s not just music, but a deeply personal statement with the power to heal, inspire, and unsettle. His backing band, The Long Shadows, plays an essential role in crafting live shows that often transform into mesmerizing, improvised rituals connecting audience and artist as one.
