London-based multi-instrumentalist A.A. Williams is returning to Prague! She quickly captured the attention of the music world with her dark and emotive style, which she playfully refers to as "death gospel." Her work blends elements of post-rock, gothic, metal, folk, and classical music into deeply atmospheric compositions, highlighted by her velvet-smooth voice and masterful performances on guitar, piano, and cello.

Following her debut EP in 2019, Williams released the critically acclaimed album Forever Blue (2020), praised for its melancholic depth and cinematic mood. In 2022, she unveiled her most ambitious work to date, As The Moon Rests, an album that weaves together heavy and delicate moments with rich string arrangements.

Williams has also earned admiration for her gift for reinterpretation—whether reimagining her own songs or covering well-known tracks by other artists. Her Songs from Isolation project, created during the COVID pandemic, featured raw but moving covers of songs by Nine Inch Nails, Radiohead, and The Cure. She reworked her early compositions into string ensemble versions for the EP arco, showcasing both her versatility and classical roots.

Her collaboration with Japanese band MONO on the hauntingly beautiful track "Exit in Darkness" drew critical praise, and her cover of Dolly Parton’s "Jolene" became a viral global hit.

Live, A.A. Williams has performed alongside icons such as Cult of Luna, Russian Circles, Sleep Token, and Sisters of Mercy, and she has also become a sought-after headliner in her own right—including a standout show at London’s iconic Queen Elizabeth Hall.
