French genre chameleons Rise of the Northstar are storming into Prague! This Parisian quintet has been pushing the boundaries of music genres and visual identity since 2008. Their sound blends the aggression of hardcore and thrash metal with hip-hop rhythms and pounding beats, all deeply infused with a love for Japanese pop culture—from manga to streetwear. Visually, they’re impossible to miss: styled like characters from a shonen manga, exuding an energy that electrifies crowds.

Rise of the Northstar’s music isn’t just about aggression and heaviness—it’s about attitude. Their lyrics often explore themes of resistance to the system, self-improvement, and fighting for one’s identity. Every track hits like a punch—uncompromising, explosive, and flawlessly produced. The band takes pride in being fiercely independent, a fact underscored by their own label, Repression Records. Among their most notable releases are the albums Welcame, The Legacy of Shi, and their latest, Showdown. Bringing their own mix of heavy riffs and hip-hop to the stage are support act Deez Nuts! This Australian powerhouse formed in 2007 and has earned scene-wide respect for their raw energy, hard-hitting lyrics, and their “party & survive” lifestyle. Led by frontman JJ Peters, the band tears up stages around the globe with shows full of sweat, unity, and unrelenting momentum.

Opening the evening are German metalcore force Half Me, who made a name for themselves with their distinctive blend of crushing breakdowns, gritty riffs, and electronic elements.
