Metalcore Pioneers Killswitch Engage Return to Prague!

From the early 2000s to the present day, Killswitch Engage have remained one of the most influential bands on the global metal scene. Hailing from Massachusetts, USA, they are considered among the main architects of modern metalcore — a style that uncompromisingly fuses the brutal power of extreme metal with melodic lines and the emotion of hardcore. Where others come and go, Killswitch Engage endure — stronger, more technical, and more authentic than ever before.

Their breakthrough album Alive or Just Breathing (2002) redefined the genre and became a cult classic, inspiring countless younger bands. With hits like My Last Serenade, The End of Heartache, and My Curse, they not only won the hearts of fans but also landed on the covers of major metal magazines. Their ability to seamlessly shift between guttural growls and clean melodic vocals created a unique sound that remains their signature to this day.

As part of the tour, Killswitch Engage will be joined by three other bands. One of them is Fit For An Autopsy, a deathcore juggernaut from New Jersey known for their brutal musical intensity, dark atmosphere, and socially conscious lyrics. Since their formation in 2008, they’ve built a reputation as one of the most innovative names in the scene, thanks to their blend of crushing breakdowns and melodic passages.

The lineup is completed by Polish technical death metal powerhouse Decapitated, who have been delivering uncompromising energy to their listeners since 1996, and Employed to Serve, a British metalcore ensemble that skillfully blends raw energy and urgent lyrics with elements of noise, sludge, and death metal.
