WE CAME AS ROMANS, BRAND OF SACRIFICE, HEAVENSGATE - Praha
07 / 10 / 2025 / PRAHA / PALÁC AKROPOLIS
A fusion of raw metalcore energy, emotion, modern production techniques, and powerful melodies – that’s We Came As Romans! Since 2005, this quintet from Michigan has been pushing the boundaries of the genre, blending heavy riffs with electronic elements and delivering pure emotion through their music, resonating with fans all over the world.
Their work is thoughtful and layered, full of contrasts between harsh screams and clean vocals, between brutal power and soft, almost ambient passages. Albums like To Plant a Seed, Understanding What We’ve Grown to Be, or Tracing Back Roots have found a place in the hearts of thousands of fans thanks to their powerful lyrics that speak of self-reflection, loss, hope, and belief in a better tomorrow.
The tragic death of vocalist Kyle Pavone in 2018 was a huge blow to the band – but also a new source of motivation. Instead of ending their career, they chose to carry on his legacy and turned pain into strength. The result is the album Darkbloom (2022). Today, We Came As Romans feel stronger than ever – not only musically, but as people. Their live shows are an emotional ride that sweeps up everyone in the crowd.
BRAND OF SACRIFICE took things even further with their latest EP "Between Death and Dreams." With an even more cinematic production, massive choirs, brutal breakdowns, and plenty of surprises, the EP marks a remarkable evolution of their sound.
Fans at every BRAND OF SACRIFICE show will recognize the closing track "Eclipse" and its final chant: "Welcome to the New Age."
HEAVENSGATE are a young quintet entering the scene with unwavering determination and a clear goal to make their mark. Every note in their music pulses with passion, and each lyric strikes deeper than just the surface. Offering a fresh take on modern metalcore, and working with producers like Josh Ang (Pincer+, Angelseason), Erik Bickerstaffe (Loathe), and Buster Odeholm (Humanity's Last Breath, Sworn In), they’re quickly carving out a name for themselves in the genre.
