Heretoir is a melodic post-metal band from Germany, founded in 2006. Their music blends emotional atmospheres with intense guitar walls and profound lyrics, often reflecting themes of melancholy, existence, and the beauty of transience. The band has released three studio albums, one mini-album, and a number of EPs and compilations. Their fourth full-length record, Solastalgia, is set to be released on September 19, 2025 via AOP Records. Heretoir has performed at shows and festivals all across Europe alongside bands such as Katatonia, Alcest, God is an Astronaut, and Agalloch, and toured with acts like Killswitch Engage, Enslaved, Der Weg einer Freiheit, Kalmah, and Ghost Bath. Their music resonates far beyond Europe as well — they've toured in countries like China, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil.
