KATATONIA, EVERGREY, KLOGR - Praha

21 / 11 / 2025 / PRAHA / PALÁC AKROPOLIS

Katatonia, one of the most prominent and respected names in melancholic metal, is returning to Prague as part of their upcoming European tour. Since their death/doom metal beginnings in the 90s, the band has undergone remarkable musical evolution, leading them to a unique sound blending progressive rock, doom, post-metal, and alternative elements. Their songs are carefully crafted musical landscapes filled with emotion, contrasts, and deep lyrics that reflect existential themes and introspective musings. After the triumphant success of Sky Void of Stars (2023), which captivated both critics and fans and topped European music charts, the band is embarking on another grand tour.

The evening will also feature two bands with distinct yet perfectly complementary musical approaches. Swedish band Evergrey is one of the key players in progressive metal and has released fourteen studio albums since their formation in 1995. Their music is characterized by a dense atmosphere, emotional vocal delivery by Tom S. Englund, and complex, layered arrangements. Italian-American project Klogr merges alternative metal with progressive and post-grunge elements. The band's music is heavily influenced by modern alternative rock, yet maintains a dark and introspective atmosphere.
