WEDNESDAY 13 is bringing a celebration of 21 years of MURDERDOLLS to Europe!
The horror-punk icon Wednesday 13 embarks on a European tour to pay tribute to one of the most iconic bands in the dark scene – Murderdolls. The tour, celebrating the 21st anniversary of their debut album Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls, promises fans an unforgettable night filled with dirty glam punk, metal riffs, and dark humor.
Wednesday 13 and his current band, which includes former Murderdolls members Roman Surman and Jack Tankersley, will present a setlist consisting of the greatest hits from both albums: Beyond The Valley Of The Murderdolls (2002) and Women And Children Last (2010), which won the Revolver Golden Gods Comeback Of The Year award.
Murderdolls stormed the scene at a time when baggy pants and hip-hop beats dominated, bringing a raw, fast, and horror-filled rock ‘n’ roll to the stage. Their songs blended macabre humor with a horror aesthetic. After the recent tragic death of Joey Jordison, the band’s founder and drumming legend, Wednesday 13 decided to honor their shared work and bring Murderdolls back to where it all started – Europe.
“21 years after the debut release and after Joey's sad passing, it's the right time to celebrate these songs. We created two amazing albums that I’m proud of, and unfortunately, many fans never had the chance to hear them live. Now is that moment,” says Wednesday 13.
