Stoned Jesus is bringing their hypnotic riffs to Prague's Rock Café to celebrate 15 years of musical evolution! The Ukrainian trio, founded by Igor Sydorenko in 2009 in Kyiv, has become one of the most prominent names on the European psychedelic rock scene. With their breakthrough album Seven Thunders Roar, they managed to blend doom, prog, and grunge, and the anthem "I'm the Mountain" has garnered over 15 million views on YouTube. Their follow-up album, The Harvest, brought a mix of influences reminiscent of Mastodon, Porcupine Tree, and Soundgarden. Thanks to their unwavering live performances and charismatic stage presence, they have won thousands of fans and cemented their place among the genre's leaders. Their latest album Father Light shows that Stoned Jesus continues to push the boundaries of their sound, drawing inspiration from giants like King Crimson, Swans, and Deftones, while remaining true to their original vision. They will be accompanied by the Finnish band Polymoon from Tampere, whose unique sound draws from a variety of influences, including psychedelic and progressive rock as well as shoegaze.
