Interstellar death metalers Blood Incantation are expanding horizons and bringing their new album Absolute Elsewhere, which is unlike anything you've ever heard. Yes, that’s a bold, maybe even hyperbolic claim, but few can call themselves a sonic breakthrough as easily as this quartet from Denver, Colorado. The two parts of the album – The Stargate and The Message – are as intricate as they are captivating and exponentially expand on the patterns set by their scene-shaking debut Starspawn (2016) and their groundbreaking follow-up Hidden History of the Human Race (2019). The evening will be complemented by Minami Deutsch from Tokyo, who claim to follow psychedelic rock and minimal techno, but – as their band name, which in Japanese means "Southern Germany," suggests – they actually play krautrock.
