Behemoth, Satyricon, and Rotting Christ will take the stage in Prague at O2 Universe as part of The Unholy Trinity Tour 2025. It doesn’t get more sacrilegious than this.
In metal history, no band embodies unwavering defiance against expectations more than BEHEMOTH. Over their remarkable thirty-one-year career, these Polish heretics, led by Adam Darski (aka Nergal), have become more than just the architects of Poland's legendary extreme metal scene.
Across twelve albums, thanks to Nergal's unique vision, BEHEMOTH has evolved into more than just a black metal band. While their image remains unmistakable and their dark, aggressive style blends black and death metal, the band's artistic vision has continuously pushed boundaries with every new album—most recently their twelfth, "OPVS CONTRA NATVRAM"—reaching wider audiences without losing their signature sound.
The special guest of the evening will be SATYRICON. The Norwegian black metal stalwarts, formed in 1991 in Oslo, quickly became one of the leading bands of the burgeoning Norwegian black metal scene, thanks to their unique approach.
Lead songwriter Satyr and his right-hand drummer Frost have consistently evolved their art, defying traditional norms. After perfecting the second wave of black metal with albums like Dark Medieval Times and The Shadowthrone, they released the now-iconic and widely revered album Nemesis Divina in 1996. They continue to carve their own unique path, delving into the dark spiritual depths of 21st-century humanity.
Completing the trio will be ROTTING CHRIST, the architects of Greek black metal. For 35 years, they've been blending historical atmosphere, hypnotic choirs, and neoclassical arrangements. Now, they present their 14th studio album, "Pro Xristou". Translated from Greek as "Before Christ," it is a fervent tribute to the last pagan kings who stood firmly against the Christian tide, protecting ancient values and knowledge. "Pro Xristou" captures the essence of Rotting Christ’s characteristic style—a melodic symphony with moments of relentless harshness.
