INGESTED, PSYCROPTIC, NETHERWALKER, TRACHEOTOMY - Praha
24 / 01 / 2027 / PRAHA / FUTURUM
Two decades on the scene, zero compromises. British kings of brutality INGESTED are heading to Futurum in Prague on January 24, 2027, as part of their 20th Anniversary Tour. Alongside their new album Denigration, they’ll bring technical death metal heavyweights Psycroptic, a mythical blackened onslaught from Netherwalker, and uncompromising Myspace-style deathcore outfit Tracheotomy!
Manchester’s Ingested have spent two decades cementing their status as a cornerstone of the British extreme metal scene. Evolving from their underground slam death metal beginnings, the band have become a force that combines absolute precision with relentless groove and straight-up aggression. Founding members Sean Hynes and Lyn Jeffs, joined by fresh blood in the lineup (Andrew Virrueta and Thomas O’Malley), are ushering in a new era with their latest album, Denigration, recorded under the watchful eye of producer Nico Beninato. The record introduces a darker, blackened and dissonant edge, featuring guest appearances from John Gallagher (Dying Fetus) and Damonteal Harris (PeelingFlesh). Ingested aren’t here to celebrate the past – they’re here to reaffirm their place on the throne of modern brutality.
Tasmanian technical death metal machine Psycroptic have been flying the flag for Australian tech-death for over a quarter of a century. Joe Haley’s lightning-fast guitar work, paired with the relentless drumming of his brother Dave, creates a symbiosis unlike anything else in the genre. Their discography boasts iconic records ranging from cult classics like The Scepter of the Ancients and Ob(Servant) to more recent releases such as The Pulse of Annihilation and Divine Council, which helped define their modern, organic sound. Live, Psycroptic deliver technical perfection without unnecessary posturing – pure raw energy and riff anatomy.
Emerging from Florida’s underground, Netherwalker are part of the new wave of symphonic blackened deathcore. Founded by guitarist Grayson Yearty, the project combines the legacy of brutal death metal veterans with dark medieval themes and epic storytelling. Their debut concept album, Odyssey of Respair, takes listeners on a journey through a fallen kingdom, driven by massive breakdowns, orchestral arrangements, and the merciless vocal assault of Alex Calvera.
Rounding out the lineup are fellow Floridians Tracheotomy, bringing back the raw aesthetic of deathcore’s golden Myspace era from the early 2000s. No overpolished production tricks here – just pure aggression, crowbar-to-the-temple riffs, and uncompromising guttural vocals. Following their acclaimed EPs Dissimulation and Fixated Propensity For Destruction, they’ll bring a textbook example of an authentic revival of the genre’s roots to Prague.
