Campaign for Musical Destruction 2027: NAPALM DEATH, MISERY INDEX, AUTHOR & PUNISHER, HABAK, PIECE - Brno
05 / 02 / 2027 / BRNO / FLÉDA CLUB
The ultimate celebration of extreme music is coming to Brno! Campaign for Musical Destruction 2027 brings grindcore pioneers NAPALM DEATH, the technical brutality of MISERY INDEX, mechanical industrial heaviness from AUTHOR & PUNISHER, neocrust outfit HABAK, and the raw intensity of PIECE. On February 5, 2027, Fléda will host the very best of extreme guitar music.
Birmingham legends NAPALM DEATH helped define the extreme metal underground with their groundbreaking debut Scum (1987) and earned a place in the Guinness Book of Records with “You Suffer,” the shortest song in history. Rather than resting on their legacy, however, the band, led by Barney Greenway and Shane Embury, continues to explore new sonic territory. Releases such as Throes of Joy in the Jaws of Defeatism and the EP Resentment Is Always Seismic prove that their relentless grindcore pace and death metal riffs can seamlessly absorb elements of cold post-punk, noise, and industrial music without losing any of their socially conscious, explosive edge.
Virginia's PIG DESTROYER are among the most respected acts in the modern grindcore scene. Albums such as Prowler in the Yard and Terrifyer set new benchmarks for speed, sonic aggression, and compositional complexity. Guitar visionary Scott Hull combines neurotic speed with crushing sludge passages, while vocalist J.R. Hayes delivers unconventional, darkly poetic lyrics. The result is a surgically precise, chaos-fueled whirlwind that leaves nothing standing in its wake when unleashed live.
The one-man project AUTHOR & PUNISHER, led by Tristan Shone, completely redefines what heavy music can be. A former mechanical engineer, Shone uses custom-built pneumatic and electronic machinery to physically unleash massive sub-bass frequencies, industrial rhythms, and an impenetrable wall of sound. His fusion of doom metal, industrial, and drone delivers a uniquely visceral experience in which technology becomes an extension of human rage.
Mexico's HABAK bring dramatic dynamics and emotional intensity to the lineup. Their take on neocrust thrives on the contrast between relentless d-beat rhythms, dark hardcore, and immersive, atmospheric passages tinged with post-rock. Opening the evening, PIECE will deliver raw, unfiltered grind/hardcore with one clear mission: to unleash a devastating pace from the very first drum hit.
