Norwegian progressive metal legends Enslaved and Icelandic melancholics Sólstafir are joining forces for a co-headline tour! Together with special guests Gaahls Wyrd, they will perform on February 27, 2027, at Fléda in Brno. Enslaved will present their new album Mið, while Sólstafir will showcase their latest release Hin helga kvöl. Tickets go on sale September 25.

Norwegian legends Enslaved are returning with their new album Mið, due out October 30 via Nuclear Blast Records. The album’s title comes from the Old Norse word for “middle” and represents another milestone in the band’s ongoing journey, thematically following their previous mythology-inspired albums Utgard (2020) and Heimdal (2023). Having long since moved beyond the strict boundaries of black metal, the band continues to exist in a constant state of musical transition. On this tour, they promise material built around the belief that music must find its own path, even when it does not necessarily explain exactly where it is heading. Bringing these new songs face-to-face with a live audience is absolutely crucial to the band.

Iceland’s Sólstafir will support the tour with their latest release Hin helga kvöl. What began as a raw extreme metal band has evolved into a distinctive post-metal force of its own. The new album delivers their signature melancholic sound while naturally and innovatively blending it with more aggressive echoes of their past. The result is music that completely blurs traditional genre boundaries, taking shape in a form that feels entirely its own. At the heart of the album are deeply personal and electrifying performances from each member, which gain even greater dynamics on stage, amplified by an unmistakable aura balancing on the edge of brooding rock'n'roll.

Norwegian Gaahls Wyrd will join the entire European tour as special guests. Led by iconic vocalist Kristian “Gaahl” Espedal, the band offers a darker and colder counterpoint to both headliners. Their distinctive take on black metal is not built around straightforward aggression, but rather creeping, dense atmospheres and Gaahl’s remarkable vocal versatility. They will bring an entrancing darkness to the Brno evening, perfectly setting the stage for the more progressive and emotionally charged worlds of the two headliners.
