PARTY CANNON, INTERNAL BLEEDING, GUTTURAL SLUG - Praha

Scottish Party Cannon made their mark not only with their uncompromising slam death metal, but above all with their iconic logo resembling a toy store, completely shattering the visual stereotypes of the extreme metal scene. Behind this tongue-in-cheek aesthetic, however, lies a precise musical machine. Hailing from Dunfermline, the band builds their sound around crushing slam passages, rapid blast beats, and diseased growls, all convincingly showcased on recordings such as Bong Hit Hospitalisation and Injuries Are Inevitable. Their music is an explosive blend of heavyweight riffing and absurd humor that works with surgical precision on stage, cutting straight to the point and bulldozing everything in its path.

Internal Bleeding, on the other hand, are true architects of the genre. The Long Island outfit, founded in 1991, are rightfully regarded as pioneers of slam death metal. While the death metal scene of the time was pushing tempos to extreme levels, Internal Bleeding opted instead for devastating groove, rolling riffs, and a rhythmic approach that helped shape the entire NYDM (New York Death Metal) movement. Their 1995 debut Voracious Contempt remains an undeniable milestone in extreme music. Even after decades on the scene, the band maintains their massive sound and brings that classic, aggressive street-level drive to the stage — the very foundation from which hundreds of modern bands continue to draw.

Guttural Slug are a Danish slam death metal band formed in 2012, who made a name for themselves in the underground community primarily with their 2013 album Megalodon. Their sound is characterized by extremely downtuned guitars, heavy, swinging riffs, and distinctive, inhumanly deep vocals.
