Cold Florida death metal collides with the melodic melancholy of Washington, D.C. The No Place of Warmth tour brings the icy riffs of Frozen Soul and melo-death/metalcore legends Darkest Hour to Prague’s Futurum. The lineup is completed by ferocious crossover thrashers Denial Of Life and the uncompromising Dethroned. Mark February 18 in your calendar!

Texan Frozen Soul are considered one of the most prominent bands in the current old-school death metal revival. Their signature sound isn’t built around flashy technicality, but rather crushing tempo changes, a freezing atmosphere, and guitar riffs cold enough to cause frostbite. The band openly draws from pioneers such as Bolt Thrower and Mortician, while bringing a devastating modern production and bleak lyrical themes into the mix. Releases such as Glacial Domination prove that Frozen Soul can deliver uncompromising, rolling death metal without any unnecessary frills.

Veterans Darkest Hour have spent three decades seamlessly blending Swedish melodic death metal with the fury of the American hardcore punk underground. Hailing from Washington, D.C., the band helped define the New Wave of American Heavy Metal at the turn of the millennium, with releases such as Undoing Ruin and Deliver Us now considered genre classics. Live, they unleash a relentless storm of twin-guitar leads, pounding d-beats, and the unmistakable roar of John Henry, which has lost none of its intensity on their latest studio album, Perpetual Terminal.

The Pacific Northwest scene sends its representatives in the form of Denial Of Life. They will bring dirty crossover thrash infused with heavy-duty hardcore to the evening. Their music is built on rapid-fire riff attacks, aggressive female vocals, and an uncompromising drive that leaves no room for studio polish. Rounding out the lineup are Dresden’s Dethroned, combining Swedish death metal with American hardcore.
