Pain of Truth are one of the absolute standouts of the current heavy hardcore wave. Hailing from Long Island and fronted by Michael Smith, the band builds on foundations laid by legends such as Biohazard, Madball, and Hatebreed, while wrapping them in a modern, relentlessly hard-hitting sound. Their 2023 debut album Not Through Blood cemented their reputation as an unstoppable force – packed with guest appearances from members of iconic bands, from Freddy Cricien to Scott Vogel, the record delivers a ruthless crossover of hardcore and beatdown where every riff feels like a moshpit trigger.

The lineup is rounded out by two heavyweights from the European and Western scenes. California’s Big Boy will bring their blunt-force beatdown hardcore packed with crushing breakdowns and slow tempos that’ll make your blood run cold. Joining them are Paris-based Headbussa, who inject their take on hardcore with a raw metallic edge and uncompromising aggression. This four-band lineup leaves absolutely no room to catch your breath.
