GET THE SHOT, CRYOUT - Praha

09 / 11 / 2026 / PRAHA / 007 STRAHOV

19:00 - Doors
19:55 - Cryout
20:45 - Get The Shot

The Canadian outfit Get the Shot has been active on the scene for more than a decade, building a reputation as one of the hardest-working bands in the genre since their beginnings on the streets of Quebec. While their roots are firmly planted in ’90s New York hardcore, Get the Shot have never settled for established formulas. Over the years, they have incorporated elements of classic thrash and Florida death metal into their DNA, something that fully comes to life on records such as Infinite Punishment and their latest release, Merciless Destruction. The result is a dense, groove-driven sound powered by machine-gun guitar riffs and the vocals of frontman Jean-Philippe, whose lyrics openly channel the social and political frustrations of the modern world. No unnecessary posing – just unfiltered musical force.

Live, Get the Shot are a machine that knows no mercy, and the cramped confines of Prague’s legendary Sedmička are a perfect match for their explosive performance. Their shows rely not on artificial stage effects, but on total commitment and constant interaction with the crowd, which can turn into one giant battleground within seconds. The transitions between thrash-fueled speed attacks and devastating breakdowns leave no room to catch your breath. For anyone following the evolution of contemporary heavy guitar music and appreciating a band that can organically bridge hardcore punk and extreme metal, this is an evening with a very clear agenda. For crossover devotees and anyone who values a band that puts in the work, showing up is practically mandatory. See you at the front – and a mouthguard is highly recommended.

Cryout combine brutal beatdown/hardcore energy with modern aggression and a powerful live presence. The band have built their reputation through hard-hitting songwriting, intense live performances, and uncompromising energy. They have already played major festivals such as Rock for People, Fajtfest, and Flex Fiesta, while sharing the stage with bands including While She Sleeps, Agnostic Front, Harm’s Way, Dying Wish, Abbie Falls, and many others. Cryout are ready to bring their crushing sound to even bigger stages and leave their mark on the modern hardcore scene.
