Led by visionary Neige, Alcest have long transcended the boundaries of the genre they helped define. From their groundbreaking debut Souvenirs d'un autre monde and the landmark Écailles de Lune, they have organically fused black metal intensity with ethereal shoegaze and post-rock. The signature sound of Neige and Winterhalter is built on powerful melodies and sweeping structures that translate flawlessly to the live setting. In Brno, they will showcase material spanning their two-decade career, which has consistently explored themes of spirituality and the search for an escape from tangible reality.

The support will come from California’s Agriculture, who have been making a strong impact on the contemporary scene with their own term: “ecstatic black metal.” Rather than embracing the genre’s traditional nihilism and misanthropy, they channel intense joy and waves of tremolo riffs, as showcased on their self-titled EP The Circle Chant.
