The cream of modern deathcore under one roof. Pittsburgh’s Signs of the Swarm will take over Prague’s Rock Café on February 17, 2027. Joined by France’s ten56., technical metalcore outfit Oceans Ate Alaska, and rising New York act Face Yourself, they form a lineup built for maximum impact. This night on Národní will put your endurance to the test.

Pittsburgh’s Signs of the Swarm have come a long way since their early slam-deathcore days. Today, they stand among the strongest names in modern deathcore, combining crushing heaviness with sinister atmospheric elements, as showcased on their acclaimed album Amongst the Low & Empty. Their sound is driven by massive guitar riffs, machine-gun blast beats, and the deep vocals of David Simonich. Live, the band delivers a precise and devastating performance built around razor-sharp rhythms and expertly placed breakdowns.

French-British outfit ten56., fronted by Aaron Matts (ex-Betraying the Martyrs), confidently blend dark nu-metal elements with deathcore and industrial influences. Their sound relies on extremely downtuned guitars and a filthy, raw production style. Aggression meets an infectious bounce, making their shows the perfect setting for some seriously intense mosh pits.

Birmingham’s Oceans Ate Alaska are defined by surgically precise metalcore crossed with mathcore experimentation. Extreme polyrhythms, unexpected twists, and constant tempo changes, driven by drummer Chris Turner, give their music a distinctly progressive edge. It’s a technically brilliant approach that breaks away from conventional genre formulas.

Opening the entire evening will be the young New York outfit Face Yourself. This rapidly rising band has been making waves with their uncompromising pace and the formidable vocal range of frontwoman Yasmine Ashraf. Her effortless transitions between deep growls and piercing screams are guaranteed to ignite the pit from the very first minutes.
