Chicago's REZN are returning to Prague! This time, they'll bring their massive, psychedelic-laden doom as the evening's headliners. Joining them are German post-rock visionaries Coltaine, whose hypnotic, darkly organic atmosphere makes for the perfect counterpart. A night of sonic darkness that will completely consume you.

REZN (USA) are no strangers to Czech audiences. In October 2024, they left a lasting impression in Prague while supporting instrumental giants Russian Circles at Archa+. This time, however, they return in full force as the night's main attraction. Since the release of their debut album Let It Burn in 2017, the Chicago quartet has earned a reputation for masterfully blurring the boundaries between sludge and doom. Their signature sound combines walls of downtuned guitars and relentless rhythms with ethereal synthesizer textures and the cosmic melancholy of the saxophone. Songs from acclaimed albums such as Chaotic Divine, as well as last year's collaborative release with Vinnum Sabbathi, become an irresistible force in the live setting—pulling listeners in with the gravity of a black hole and refusing to let go.

Coltaine (GER) provide the perfect counterbalance to Chicago's crushing heaviness. The German quartet operates at the crossroads of melancholic post-rock, atmospheric doom metal, and the dark psychedelia of the 1970s. Their strength lies in an organic, analogue-minded sound free of digital gloss, as well as their masterful use of dynamic contrasts. Layered guitar soundscapes, haunting vocal melodies, and a constant sense of tension make their performance the ideal opening chapter for the evening. Forget sterile genre conventions—this is music driven by raw chemistry and genuine musicianship.
