American legends Ministry wrote the blueprint for industrial metal, and after seventeen studio albums they are ready to close the book for good. Their farewell release, Hate To Go (Take Out Or Delivery), finds Al Jourgensen at his purest—fiercely critical, politically charged, and uncompromising as ever. Musically, the album promises a return to the band's trademark fusion of crushing thrash and industrial, driven by relentless guitar riffs, dense sampling, and even experiments involving autonomous artificial intelligence. It also marks the return of bassist Paul Barker, whose unmistakable songwriting and production helped define Ministry's classic era. Barker and Jourgensen formed the band's creative core between 1986 and 2004, producing landmark albums such as The Land Of Rape And Honey and Psalm 69. Seeing this legendary partnership reunited on stage is the perfect conclusion to the career of a band that fundamentally reshaped heavy music.
Joining them as special guests are Germany's Die Krupps, without whose influence the European fusion of heavy metal and electronic music would look very different today. Led by Jürgen Engler, the band has stood among the pioneers of EBM since the early 1980s, forging a unique sound that combined synthetic sequences with mechanical rhythms, metallic percussion, and crushing guitar work. Their cold, machine-like precision provides the perfect counterpart to Ministry's chaotic American fury.
