American melodic death metal machine The Black Dahlia Murder are returning to Prague. Joining them as special guests will be American death metal/hardcore bruisers Fuming Mouth!

The Michigan-based band have built an unshakable reputation with their unique blend of the aggression of the Florida death metal school and the catchy melodic sensibilities of the Gothenburg style (At the Gates, Carcass). Albums such as Miasma and the cult classic Nocturnal have become essential listening for an entire generation of musicians. Lightning-fast guitar duels, blast beats and a relentless vocal range are among their trademarks. Following the tragic passing of frontman Trevor Strnad, those vocal duties have been fully taken over by longtime guitarist and co-founder Brian Eschbach. The band have lost none of their hunger, as proven by their latest album, Servitude.

Fuming Mouth are an American death metal/hardcore band from Massachusetts who combine an uncompromisingly heavy sound with pummeling dynamics and more melodic layers. Led by frontman Mark Whelan, they established a strong reputation with their debut The Grand Descent (2019), but their biggest achievement so far is Last Day of Sun (2023). The album was written during a difficult period in Whelan's life, as he underwent intensive treatment for leukemia, which contributed to the material's exceptionally dark and emotional yet relentlessly aggressive atmosphere. Their sound is built around crushing riffs with a strong influence from Swedish death metal and its classic HM-2 tone, seamlessly alternating with uncompromising hardcore fury and harsh, urgent vocals.
