Texas trio Haunt Me will bring the raw essence of modern darkwave and post-punk to Prague’s Subzero Club on November 18. Expect to get lost in a haze of retro synthesizers, icy basslines, and shadowy atmosphere. Dress in black and join the dark dance ritual.

Founded in Austin in early 2021 by multi-instrumentalist Darius Davila, the project quickly established itself as one of the most distinctive voices in today’s guitar-driven and synth-fueled underground. Haunt Me seamlessly blend the melancholy of early The Cure with the neon aesthetics of 1980s horror films and the contemporary coldness of acts like Boy Harsher and Twin Tribes. Their sound is defined by deep, pulsating basslines, sharp post-punk guitars, and Davila’s hazy yet emotionally charged vocals.

The band arrives in Prague armed with material from their acclaimed albums This Sadness Never Ends and last year’s genre-defining release Watch You Bleed. Tracks such as “Bloodlust” and “Filthy” perfectly showcase their ability to transform inner demons and anxiety into infectious, darkly danceable rhythms—songs that are destined to shine in the intimate, industrial surroundings of an underground club.
