Icelandic black metal elite Misþyrming are heading to Prague! Together with Owls Woods Graves, Profanation and Gorrch, they will turn Prague’s Black Pes into the center of a sonic apocalypse on October 17. Expect an uncompromising musical spectrum ranging from dissonant darkness to blasphemous black/punk fury.

The headliners of the night, Misþyrming, have long outgrown the Icelandic underground. Ever since their debut Söngvar elds og óreiðu, they have helped define the modern face of black metal, where Nordic melody collides with nervous dissonance and a near rock’n’roll sense of momentum. Their latest album Með hamri proved the band can raise the pulse and deliver massive walls of sound without sacrificing any of their trademark rawness or meticulous songwriting. Live, Misþyrming are an absolute machine built on intensity and flawless musicianship.

The lineup is completed by a powerful trio of stylistically distinct support acts. Owls Woods Graves — featuring members connected to acts such as Mgła and Kriegsmaschine — will bring their filthy, nihilistic black metal infused with straightforward punk energy and razor-sharp lyrics. French veterans Profanation will add old-school death metal brutality driven by uncompromising rhythms and aggressive riffing. Opening the entire bill are Italy’s Gorrch, specializing in extremely fast, chaotic and impenetrable black metal rooted in the darkest European tradition.
