Four shades of brutality in one night. On December 15, Prague’s Rock Café will be taken over by blackened deathcore heavyweights Mental Cruelty and Ov Sulfur, joined by slam engineers Extermination Dismemberment and the tech-death onslaught of Acranius. Prepare your neck for total destruction.

With their album Zwielicht, Mental Cruelty proved once and for all that blackened deathcore is far more than a passing trend — it’s a fully realized discipline of its own. The band masterfully balances uncompromising breakdowns with majestic, frostbitten orchestration carrying a distinct Scandinavian atmosphere, all commanded by vocal chameleon Lukas Nicolai. Tracks such as “Symphony of a Dying Star” and “Ultima Hypocrita” showcase complex arrangements where relentless blast beats collide with cinematic grandeur.

From the sinful streets of Las Vegas comes Ov Sulfur. Fronted by the unmistakable Ricky Hoover (ex-Suffokate), the band has redefined modern deathcore vocals through a combination of animalistic screams and surprisingly clean melodic passages. Their debut album The Burden Ov Faith, released via Century Media, demonstrated exactly how modern blasphemous deathcore should sound. Songs like “Earthen” and “Befouler” are built on crushing riffs and uncompromising anti-religious lyricism that leaves nobody untouched.

Completing the lineup is Belarusian heavy artillery Extermination Dismemberment, bringing their infamous brand of slam to Prague. Albums like Serial Urbicide and newer tracks such as “Protonemesis” have turned them into a worldwide cult act — their production hits like a sonic jackhammer, with sub-bass capable of breaking ribs and grooves carrying the weight of a runaway freight train.


Opening the night are Germany’s Acranius, who will unleash their technically sharpened brand of brutal deathcore into the pit and make it clear from the very first note that every square inch in front of the stage will be fought for.
