Combichrist is returning to its roots, as Andy LaPlegua brings an exclusive OLD SCHOOL ELECTRO SET to Prague’s Futurum. Forget guitars — this will be a pure aggrotech ride in the spirit of albums like Everybody Hates You. On 7 December 2026, Prague will be taken over by uncompromising industrial nostalgia.

The Norwegian musical chameleon Andy LaPlegua founded Combichrist in 2003 as an outlet for his more aggressive electronic vision, after defining the then-emerging wave of synth-pop and futurepop with his main project Icon of Coil. With the debut The Joy of Gunz and the later cult landmark Everybody Hates You, he created a machine that set the pace for genres like aggrotech and TBM (Techno Body Music). Although the project later heavily absorbed a metal guitar aesthetic — leading to massive success with the soundtrack for the game DmC: Devil May Cry and touring alongside Rammstein — its true foundations lie in relentless analog sequences and distorted vocals.
It is precisely this raw era that will be given absolute priority in Prague.

The live lineup for this tour will leave guitars in the dressing room and focus entirely on hardware-driven, heavy club sound from the first decade of the millennium. In the intimate setting of Futurum Music Bar, the destructive energy of tracks like “This Shit Will Fuck You Up” and “Blut Royale” will once again fully come alive.
