ORANSSI PAZUZU, MÚR - Praha

19 / 10 / 2026 / PRAHA / FUTURUM

A Finnish-Icelandic pact is set to take over Prague! Oranssi Pazuzu will bring their industrialized psychedelia, backed by the volcanic post-metal of Icelandic outfit Múr. On October 19 at Futurum Music Bar, expect a full-on reality-bending experience with no way back. An absolute must for lovers of musical anomalies.

Finnish act Oranssi Pazuzu have long transcended the boundaries of black metal they originally emerged from. Their current direction, cemented by the 2024 album Muuntautuja, dives headfirst into industrial noise, trip-hop rhythms, and cosmic horror. The Tampere-based band blends hypnotic krautrock repetition with suffocating atmospheres, where Jun-His’ tortured vocals dissolve beneath layers of synthesizer textures. Forget traditional riffs; Oranssi Pazuzu create an organic mass that will transform the confined space of Futurum into a pulsating, noisy organism.

Icelandic quintet Múr are among the brightest new discoveries on the Nordic scene in recent years. After conquering the Icelandic edition of Wacken Metal Battle, they signed with Century Media and released their self-titled debut, a record whose scale mirrors Iceland’s volcanic landscapes. Their progressive post-metal channels the epic scope of Opeth and the crushing force of Gojira, all intertwined with jazz flourishes and cinematic atmosphere. Kári Haraldsson commands a voice capable of sounding both like fragile melancholy and the roar of a cracking earth. Prepare for a widescreen sonic experience that may not pin you to Futurum’s seats, but will consume you all the more intensely.
