The Münster-based quartet has spent nearly two decades defining what modern instrumental rock should sound like—music that doesn’t need a vocalist to tell complex stories. From their cult debut Satellite Bay to conceptual monuments like Eraser, Long Distance Calling expertly balance on the edge between post-rock melancholy and the technical precision of progressive metal. Their music isn’t just about reverb; it’s kinetic energy, where drums and guitars form an organic wall of sound, carrying both German precision and raw emotion.

What makes this evening at Cargo Gallery special is the intimate seated setup. In the industrial space of the ship on the Vltava River, even the most delicate textures of their sound will have room to breathe—details that can sometimes get lost in standard club shows.
