Darkness in its purest form: THE RUINS OF BEVERAST, led by Meilenwald, are heading to Prague. They will be joined by funeral doom titans Esoteric and the ferocious black metal force Imha Tarikat. November 21 at Black Pes Club!

Alexander von Meilenwald and his project THE RUINS OF BEVERAST define what atmospheric black/doom truly means—without genre clichés. From the raw beginnings on the cult album Rain Upon the Impure to the psychedelic and tribal textures of records like Exuvia or The Thule Grimoires, TRoB लगातार push the boundaries of listener endurance. Expect layered compositions where choral elements blend with crushing riffs, evoking imagery of ancient civilizations and forgotten deities. Meilenwald’s signature lies in his ability to construct a massive wall of sound that engulfs you with its complexity and unpredictability.

British legends ESOTERIC have stood at the very forefront of funeral doom for over three decades. Their music is not just about extremely slow tempos—it’s a hallucinogenic journey through dissonance, delay-soaked guitar textures, and absolute despair. Greg Chandler and his collective have proven on milestones like The Pernicious Enigma and their latest double album A Pyrrhic Existence that extreme metal can be both progressive and emotionally devastating.

The lineup is completed by German act IMHA TARIKAT, who have stirred the black metal scene in recent years with their unrestrained energy. Kerem Yilmaz channels raw emotion and almost punk-like ferocity into the music, evident on releases like Hearts Unchained and Sternenberster. Their take on the genre is direct, energetic, and full of inner turmoil—creating the perfect dynamic counterbalance to the slow-burning weight of the other two bands.
