Canadian Despised Icon have become synonymous with surgically precise chaos. As pioneers of deathcore, they fused the technical discipline of death metal with the raw energy of hardcore, creating a blueprint the scene still draws from today. The interplay of dual vocalists, machine-gun drumming, and breakdowns with the weight of a freight train elevate their set beyond mere intensity. Since the cult album The Ills of Modern Man, they’ve remained at the forefront, and their return to Prague is a celebration for every blast beat devotee.

The New York legends, led by Terrance Hobbs, continue to deliver riffs that defy the laws of physics, and with their latest album Hymns from the Apocrypha, they prove that even after decades, they can sound more dangerous than their successors. Gutrectomy are a German slam deathcore band from Baden-Württemberg, known for their uncompromising, heavy and aggressive sound. Since their formation in 2011, they have combined the fast, razor-sharp riffs and relentless rhythms of classic brutal death metal with massive breakdowns and low-tuned slam passages, all driven by their signature deep growls and pig squeals. The band has released several well-received records, including the albums Slamocalypse and Manifestation of Human Suffering, earning them a strong following both in the underground club scene and at major European genre festivals.
