Lili Refrain, an Italian solo artist known for her experimental approach to music, fearlessly blending unexpected loops, layered vocals, and guitar with an emphasis on a rich, immersive sound, has just announced her spring European tour—naturally including Prague, a city whose residents seem to have a deep understanding for this Rome-born artist. This remarkable fusion of genres, spanning psychedelic rock, folk, and ambient, has propelled Lili Refrain beyond the underground, even landing her a tour alongside Heilung, who performed at Forum Karlín in 2022. Support will come from the dark ambient project Hibernant.

Operating at the intersection of industrial and dark ambient, Hibernant explores both the dreamlike corners of the human mind and the cold emptiness of the cosmos. Atmospheric soundscapes are interwoven with mechanical rhythms, pulsating beats, and noises that feel as though they echo from abandoned outer space. The music balances between hypnotic stillness and rhythmic passages that evoke movement through infinite vacuum, failing systems, and the dark architecture of planets and stations lost in deep space.
