NEBULA, JOHNNY NASTY BOOTS - Praha
17 / 05 / 2026 / PRAHA / 007
California-based Nebula are bringing stoner rock back to its raw essence. Eddie Glass (ex–Fu Manchu) will roll into Prague’s Sedmička with tons of fuzz, psychedelia, and desert dust. Forget gravity — this is a pure psychedelic trip straight into the depths of the seventies. May 17 at 007 Strahov!
Nebula are the direct offspring of the cult band Fu Manchu, formed in 1997 when guitarist Eddie Glass and drummer Ruben Romano branched off from the original lineup. While their parent band leaned toward straightforward skate rock, Nebula took a path of deeper experimentation with feedback and cosmic aesthetics. Their debut To the Center helped define the genre’s sound at the turn of the millennium, and albums like Charged confirmed that no one tames analog distortion as organically and explosively as these devotees of massive riffs.
Their sound is built on thunderous riffs that feel like Jimi Hendrix jamming with Black Sabbath halfway to Mars. At 007 Strahov — an intimate, raw venue that suits stoner rock perfectly — we can expect a cross-section of their discography packed with hypnotic grooves and endless solos. Whether it’s classics like “Giant” or material from recent years, Nebula prove that their vision of rock’n’roll isn’t aging — it’s only getting heavier, dirtier, and more intense.
The night will be opened by Johny Nasty Boots, a power trio from Lyon, France, who live and breathe the era of glowing tube amps and sweat-soaked rock’n’roll. Their take on heavy blues rock is soaked in the influence of Hendrix and early Cream, delivered with modern ferocity and a gritty, no-compromise sound. Johny Nasty Boots are no retro revival — this is a raw, high-energy ride driven by honest groove and unapologetic guitar heroics. Their debut album, recorded in legendary Los Angeles studios, only confirms that this trio carries a true “vintage soul” deep under their skin.
