Since forming in 2013, the Prague-based band has built its sound on three core elements: crushing guitar riffs, powerful choruses, and an explosive live energy. Over the years, The Agony have performed countless shows, from intimate club gigs and major festivals to the O2 Arena, both in the Czech Republic and abroad, headlining their own concerts as well as sharing the stage with some of the biggest names on the Czech and international rock and metal scene.
In autumn 2026, The Agony will release their new album, Blessings And Tragedies. Featuring Nikola Kandoussi (guitar/vocals), Martina "Kajda" Balcarová (drums), Domi Vrňatová (bass), and Petra Pohanková (lead guitar/vocals), the band continues to tour extensively across the Czech Republic, Europe, and the United Kingdom, inspiring and motivating a new generation of young female musicians along the way.
