International rock powerhouse The Dead Daisies are returning to Prague, this time with hard rock vocal icon Kelly Hansen at the helm! Featuring seasoned musicians with backgrounds in bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, and Journey, the band is ready to blow the Czech audience away once again. Led by guitarist David Lowy and featuring the outstanding Hansen on vocals, The Dead Daisies will bring their high-octane hits to Palác Akropolis on March 19, 2027. Special guests will be The Quireboys and The Gems.

The Dead Daisies are an international rock supergroup founded in 2013 by Australian guitarist David Lowy. From the outset, the project has embraced a flexible, ever-changing lineup featuring musicians who have played in bands such as Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, and Journey. As a result, the band has developed a distinctive sound rooted in the classic hard rock of the 1970s and 1980s, enhanced by a modern edge and plenty of energy.

The band quickly caught the attention of high-octane rock fans and critics alike, thanks to their relentless touring around the world. The Dead Daisies have toured with Aerosmith, KISS, and Def Leppard, and have appeared at numerous major festivals. Their live performances are known for their powerful dynamics, precision, and the sheer presence of their seasoned musicians.

Over the years, the band has released several successful albums featuring different vocalists, including Jon Stevens, John Corabi, and Glenn Hughes. Each era has brought a slightly different sound and atmosphere, but the common thread has always been a solid rock ’n’ roll foundation. The Dead Daisies have built a loyal fanbase and established themselves as a respected name on the rock scene.

The Quireboys are a British hard rock band formed in London in 1984. Their music is defined by catchy, melodic rock ’n’ roll infused with blues, prominent piano, and the distinctive raspy vocals of founding frontman Spike. Their 1990 debut album, A Bit of What You Fancy, reached No. 2 on the UK Albums Chart and spawned hits such as “7 O’Clock” and “Hey You.” Although the lineup has changed numerous times over the decades and the band has weathered a breakup and legal disputes over its name, The Quireboys remain a fixture of the British club and festival scene.

The Gems are a Swedish hard rock trio made up entirely of experienced female musicians. The band was formed in 2023 by vocalist Guernica Mancini, drummer Emlee Johansson, and guitarist Mona Lindgren. Their music is energetic, straightforward rock ’n’ roll inspired by the 1970s and 1980s, combining punchy guitar riffs, powerful melodies, and modern production. In January 2024, they released their debut album, Phoenix, via Napalm Records, with its title aptly symbolizing a fresh start. Singles such as “Like A Phoenix” and “Queens” have confirmed the trio’s ability to deliver catchy hard rock with a distinctive female perspective and plenty of live energy.
